villagerrr's incredible new album is out now
Tear Your Heart Out is out today, March 22, 2024, and we couldn't be happier.
About a year ago Merce Lemon sent us a demo. It was this beautiful, meandering, and deeply impactful song, her warm voice dueting with someone we didn’t recognize. It was immediately striking, special, fully realized. We loved it.
It wasn’t her song though.
It was instead our first introduction to villagerrr and their musical world. Mark is a special songwriter and this is a special album. Tear Your Heart Out is a record that reminds of humid summer nights, growing up deep in the Midwest. Mark tapped into something powerful and it’s a joy to help share his art with the world.
And the band: Cam, Zayn, Colton, and Ben are incredible musicians and together they’re one of the best live bands in the whole world. It's true.
